Ingredients
- PAMŪ Original No-Stick Cooking Spray
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 1-1/2 teaspoons ground cinnamon
- 2-3/4 cups all-purpose flour
- 1-3/4 teaspoons cream of tartar
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 cup Blue BonnetŪ-stick (1/2 cup = 1 stick)
- 1/2 cup vegetable shortening
- 1-1/3 cups granulated sugar
- 2 eggs
- 1 pkg (10 oz each) cinnamon baking morsels
Directions
- Preheat oven to 400°F. Spray cookie sheet with cooking spray. Combine 1/2 cup sugar and cinnamon; set aside. Combine flour, cream of tartar, baking soda and salt in small bowl; set aside.
- Beat Blue Bonnet and shortening until creamy in large bowl with electric mixer on medium speed. Add 1-1/3 cups sugar; beat well. Add eggs one at a time; beat well. Mix in flour until blended. Stir morsels in with a spoon.
- Roll dough into 1-1/4-inch balls; roll each ball in cinnamon-sugar to coat. Place 3 inches apart on prepared cookie sheets. Bake 8 to 10 minutes until bottoms are barely golden.
- Cool 1 minute on cookie sheets; transfer to wire racks. Cool completely.
